The End of War Machine

Former UFC fighter, former Bellator fighter, former adult-film performer, and current dirtbag War Machine (A.K.A. Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver) appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom on Sep. 3 to hear an expanded list of felony charges against him. The charges stem from an incident on August 8th when Koppenhaver allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend, adult film star Christy Mack, and her friend, Corey Thomas, in Mack’s Las Vegas home. Both Thomas and Mack (A.K.A. Christine Mackindale) were hospitalized after the incident. Thomas suffered multiple broken facial bones and Mackindale suffered a lacerated liver, facial bruising, fractures, and missing teeth. Mackindale has already undergone reconstructive surgery to repair the damage to her face and jaw.

Koppenhaver, who legally changed his name to War Machine in 2008, was extradited to Nevada following his apprehension in California — with the help of the U.S. Marshall Service and Duane Chapman, A.K.A. Dog the Bounty Hunter. In addition to the initial charges of assault, battery, coercion, and lewdness, the expanded list of charges now includes two counts of attempted murder, sexual assault, burglary, battery by strangulation, and kidnapping.

Koppenhaver had previously been convicted of the following: misdemeanor assault & battery — 2008, felony assault –2010 (he served a year in solitary confinement), and another charge of felony assault –2012 due to ‘preceding events’…?
