Tannehill completed his first 18 passes, which, when combined with his completing the last seven passes last week, gave him an NFL record 25 consecutive completions. His 18 straight in this game is also a franchise record for a single game.

Tannehill finished the day completing 18 of 19 for 282 yards and four touchdowns. Three of those touchdowns were from 50+ yards, and all of them were in the first sixteen minutes of the game.

Tannehill has thrived under new head coach Dan Campbell. In two games, he is 40/48 for 548 yards and six touchdowns.

Rodgers-Cromartie was a key component to the defense that had Matt Cassel off balance and the Giants snapped a five-game losing streak against the Cowboys. Rodgers-Cromartie had two interceptions, one of which was returned for a 58-yard touchdown that gave the Giants a 17-13 lead in the third quarter.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Harris had three kick returns, and averaged 49.7 yards per return. But none was bigger than his last one. With just over seven minutes to go in the game and the score tied at 20, he took the kick just inside the goal line. He shot through the middle of the coverage, then veered right to avoid the kicker, then outran everybody to take it to the house. He had a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to give the Giants a lead that they would not relinquish.

  • Blair Walsh, K, Minnesota Vikings
5/5 on field goal attempts, including 2 of 50+
  • Thomas Morstead, P, New Orleans Saints
10 punts, 48.7 yard average, 5 punts inside the 20
