NFC East Week 10 Recap

At the end of week 10 Philadelphia widened the distance between themselves and the rest of the division without even playing a game. Thanks to the ineptitude of the Skins, and the Dallas Cowboys debacle in Atlanta, the Eagles are just a few victories away from wrapping up the East.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles and MVP candidate Carson Wentz enjoyed their bye week by getting some much needed rest. They also added some depth at the tackle and linebacker postion. These two position were ravaged by key injuries.

A Look Ahead

Next week the Eagles will finally have their first showdown with Dallas. The Cowboys are coming off a bad lost and look to be reeling after the losses of Tyron Smith and Sean Lee. As it stands the Eagles are a 3.5 road favorite.

Washington Redskins

The Redskins were able to edge out the Seahawks for a week 10 loss at home. Kurt Cousins was solid but just plain not good enough, passing for  327 yards and 1 score and an interception. Chris Thompson  was not the contributor he had been in of weeks pass. With the 38-30 loss the Skins drop even further in the divison and find themselves looking in on the playoff picture.

A Look Ahead

The Redskins have a tough match up coming up Sunday afternoon against the Saints. The Skins will have their work cut out for them as the Saintss are on a roll and have won 7 straight. As it stands they are a 7.5 point underdog.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys followed up a beat down of the Chiefs with a terrible performance, against the Falcons. Running back Ezekiel Elliot‘s six game suspension has begun and it had a big impact. With Zeke out of the line up the offense sputtered and the absence of tackle Tyron Smith just made things worst.

A Look Ahead

Coming off a big loss the Cowboys face a really good Eagles team. This should be a game Dallas should struggle in, evident by the fact they are a 3.5 point home underdog.

New York Giants

The G-Men hit a new low in week 10. The Giants gave up 31 points to a winless 49ers team. Orleans Darkwa only managed to picked up 70 yards on 14 carries against San Francisco. This latest lost may have cost New York more than just dignity, it may have cost them their coach.

A Look Ahead

Coming up next on the schedule for New York is the 6-3 Chiefs. The Chiefs are coming off the bye and looking to pick things up after a few tough losses. A loss for New York looks almost definite, evident by the fact the Giants are a 10.5 point underdog.
