Round 12 – Fans are on their feet and the crowd is loud for this final round. Floyd play defense and trying to stay in the center of the ring. Combo’s and counters all around. Both fighters are dancing all over looking for an opportunity. Floyd with back to back rights with 30 seconds left may steal the round. tie up in the middle of the ring. WHAT A FIGHT! Round – Mayweather.
Round 11 – Starting early trading blows in the middle of the ring. Floyd with a few strong body shots. Maidana looks flustered, and nothing like the early rounds. Floyd’s defense and countering has been key this round. Final minute Maidana trying his hardest to get points back, and throw Floyd on the ropes. And as they clinch both fall through the ropes. Getting real chippy at the end. Floyd ends the round with the last punch. Did chino steal the round, I think not. Round (close) – Mayweather… this last round will be huge.
Round 10 – Floyd lands a hard right in the center of the ring, followed by multiple combos. Floyd begins to push Maidana back against the ropes. At the end they both trade blows at the end, a solid right hand by Floyd. Close round – Mayweather
Round 9 – Floyd staying more off the ropes until the very end of the round. Floyd landed multiple combinations, and stayed in the center of the ring. All Floyd this round. Round – Mayweather.
Round 8 – Maidana comes out strong to the body against the ropes on Floyd. Cheap shot below the bleat again by Maidana, no point deduction for his second infraction. Again a very close round, as Mayweather is playing defense on the ropes. Round – Mayweather
Round 7 – ‘USA’ chants fill the MGM Grand in support of Floyd. Strong round for Floyd as he looked like his old self, especially in the center of the ring, also getting more counters off the ropes. Round – Mayweather
Round 6 – Back and forth round, Maidana had Floyd against the ropes again, but Floyd has countered very well. Round – Mayweather
Round 5 – Maidana loading up on the body, he’s using a lot of energy out there early. Floyd not as quick on defense as usual that round. Round- Maidana
Round 4 – Another brawl of a round, Maidana dominated the last 10 seconds of the round, may have bought him that round. Floyd is cut over his right eye, from a Maidana headbutt. Round – Tossup (Probably Maidana)
Round 3 – Floyd started off the round looking like his old self, Maidana had Floyd on the ropes and connects with an upper hand right. Though Maidana misses the majority of his punches. A brawl of a third round. Round – Mayweather.
Round 2 – Floyd using the ropes for counter punches, Maidana throws a lot of punches but lands a quarter of them. Round – Mayweather
Round 1 – Flurry of punches by both fighters, mainly Maidana getting Floyd on the ropes. Very close round 100 punches thrown by Maidana. Toss up round (probably Maidana)

12:14 – “El Chino” comes out smiles on his face, crowd boisterous with support for Maidana.
