Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco tore an ACL prior to Justin Tucker‘s 47-yard field goal in a 16-13 victory over the St. Louis Rams.
The season-ending injury comes after the Ravens won just their third game of the year. Matt Schaub will be Flacco’s replacement for the remainder of the season.
Flacco has never missed a game since he entered the NFL seven years ago. Behind Eli Manning and Philip Rivers, Flacco has the third-longest active consecutive games streak at the quarterback position.
The injuries continue to pile up for Baltimore, as Steve Smith Sr., Terrell Suggs, Breshad Perriman and Justin Forsett have suffered season-ending injuries. Prior to Flacco’s ACL injury, Forsett left Sunday’s game with a broken right arm.
