The Best Part of Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show

0

This year’s Super Bowl halftime show had a lot of mixed reactions all over the world of social media. In my personal search for what people thought about the halftime show I noticed that many people liked and also disliked Katy Perry’s performance. Meanwhile, many fans were pleased with Missy Elliott’s appearance, while surely Lenny Kravitz was the artist that I heard the least about.

Overall the halftime show was more of the same, a lot of anticipation and never the expected results. The show Bruno Mars put in last year’s Super Bowl was not topped by Katy Perry’s performance tonight, but don’t get me wrong, Perry’s show had some pros.

The scenery and the stage were very nicely setup and Katy Perry’s entrance on her robotic lion was impressive. But the one sure thing that caught my attention and my liking were the two dancing sharks that were dancing next to Katy Perry as she performed the songs “Teenage Dream” and “California Gurls”.

While the three were dancing to these songs I closely examined the sharks’ dance moves and completely identified that the sharks’ moves were the dance moves to the very popular song “La Macarena”.

I quickly made note of it and shared my thoughts on Facebook, then just moments after the game had ended, one of my cousins sent me a genius video, 15 seconds of pure GOLD!

Are you not entertained?

After watching the video multiple times I know that I will remember this Super Bowl halftime show just for this exact moment. The performance could have been good or bad, but Katy Perry did a great job to capture my attention with this scene. Congrats Katy!
