Roma Manages Draw With Juventus

Juventus seemed to have all of the chances throughout the first half, hitting just wide a few times.

To make matters worse for Roma, Vasilios Torosidis was awarded a red card in the 63rd minute after tripping up Arturo Vidal outside the penalty box on what might not have even been a clear chance.

Juventus took advantage of the resulting free kick and Carlos Tevez struck the ball up and over the wall. The ball dipped and beat Morgan De Sanctis at the near post. This classy finish was something that Andrea Pirlo might have taught him.

Despite the one man deficit, Roma were able to draw level on the 78th minute.

Alessandro Florenzi played a ball towards the back post from a free kick. The free kick found Seydou Keita, who was able to place it towards the far post with his head.

Roma should be happy with a draw away and with one man down against the league leaders. Still, they will need to take home many more points if they are to close the nine point gap on Juventus.
