NBA Conference Finals Game 4 Recaps

The NBA conference finals have taught us a lot after a pair of surprising game 4’s. The first being that a great  player just simply can’t be denied. And secondly, that a series isn’t over until its over. The Cavaliers looked to  tie their series at 2 games a piece, the Rockets looked to do the same. However, at the end of the night both teams would achieve their goals by very different methods.

Game Summary

Biggest story of game 4 between the Cavs and Celtics was  unquestionably King James refusing to lose. LeBron James had help from his teammates but also had 44 points of his own. Double digit production from his entire starting line up combined with James’ 6th 4o point plus outburst of the postseason, a mark not reached since Allen Iverson in 2001 was the Celtics undoing. Boston had no answer for Kevin Love  and Tristan Thompson on the low block as both amassed double digit rebounds.

Western Conference Finals Game 4

Rockets @ Warriors

Game Summary

Hear them and hear them well, the Rockets aren’t going anywhere. The whispering that Houston was done for and couldn’t play with Golden State has gone silent after game 4. Steph Curry was virtually invisible in the fourth quarter as he got toasted by James Harden. Harden had 30 points but it was Chris Paul who had the biggest impact. Although he didn’t score as much as his backcourt mate he made time shot after timely shot down the stretch. As for the Warriors quite simply you live by the three and you die by the three. Their big 3 shooters went ice cold and basically coughed up this home game.
