Either over this weekend or this coming Monday morning, we will be asking ourselves what we can say about an uprising Manchester United team that is looking in great form. This Monday we will see the Red Devils face off against West Bromwich Albion in a match that should be easy for Manchester if they work together and make sure their defense is doing their part and does nott become so vulnerable.
Van Gaal and the team are being haunted by injuries. Ashley Cole is out with a pelvis injury, and Smalling, Jones, McNair, Evans, Lingard, Carrick all are dealing with some sort of leg/ foot injury. Meanwhile, Herrera is dealing with a fractured rib. With all these injuries, it shows that these players won’t be available for another week or so. Falcao is also dealing with a muscular injury but he should be ready for Monday’s game.
The team is also dealing with Wayne Rooney’s three-game suspension after being shown a red card vs. West Ham. Therefore, Rooney will also not be available for this week’s match. So this is were we need to see Di Maria, Mata, Falcao, and Van Persie step it up and try to create beautiful plays or get on the score sheet to beat West Brom.
Manchester United has won their past two games versus West Ham two weeks ago and Everton last week. They have tallied up 11 points in the premier league table, putting them in fourth place. Di Maria has been phenomenal so far, making five assists and scoring three goals in his seven appearances so far with Manchester United. Falcao got his first goal in the red shirt last week vs. Everton and we hope to see him score again versus Everton. De Gea also picked up his game last week against Everton in which we save him not only save a penalty, but also save two last chance goals fro Everton. Paddy McNair, if everything works out with his thigh injury, should be in the game. He has shown that he can play his position and Van Gaal can count on him.

The match against West Brom will also show us how good this team can play, even with all the injuries. They will have to face Chelsea on their next premier league game and that game can also determine where Manchester United is at today.
West Brom, on the other hand, has two wins, two ties and three losses so far this season. They lost against Liverpool last week, 2-1. It was a match in which West Brom could of done more against Liverpool, but their defense and attacking wasn’t enough for them and Liverpool ended up taking the three points. If Alan Irvine and his team want to take the three points against Man United this weekend, Forward Georgios Samaras, goalkeeper Ben Foster, Forward Silvestre Varela and Midfielder Stephane Sessegnon will have to step it up and help create some plays to get in the scoreboard. Their defense is also a bit vulnerable when it comes to stronger teams, and will have to deal with Van Persie, Falcao, Mata and Di Maria if they want to take the win this weekend.

Predictions: Even with all the injuries haunting the team and not having the skipper, Wayne Rooney, Manchester United still has potential to win this game. They proved that last week against Everton in which they were facing a similar situation. De Gea will come off a great performance last week and will continue in great form. With Mata, Di Maria, Falcao and Van Persie, West Brom will have a tough time stopping these four great players. Manchester United will take the three points at the end defeating West Brom 3-0.
