FC Barcelona continued their winning ways as they were able to get past Eibar on Saturday night. A superb performance by striker Lionel Messi, saw him surpass Cristiano Ronaldo for the most goals in the season so far, leading the race for the Pichichi title.

Neymar has been struggling in the front as he has not been able to score in the last four games, while Luis Suarez has finally found the form that the Barcelona faithful have been were waiting for. Neymar will need to find his form before the midweek Champions’ League clash against Manchester City and then the El Clasico next weekend.

Everyone else on on the team contributed as they were able to put on a great display for the fans before the second leg matchup against Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Messi showed the world that he continues to be the best player in the world when he made the Eibar players look like children on the field. Starting from midfield and taking on not one, not two but four Eibar players, Messi was simply playing with the ball, creating some beautiful dribbling, and nutmegging an Eibar defender.
