Lazio 4-0 Fiorentina
Lazio opened up their account early in the fifth minute as Lucas Biglia struck a great volley low through an abundance of players to find the back of the net.
Lazio absolutley bombarded the final third with chances, but keeper Norberto Neto was there time and time again, including blocking an even better volley than Biglias first.
Lazio would not increase their lead until the 65th minute after Filipe Anderson gained a penalty. Antonio Candreva stepped up to the spot and hit it hard with accuracy to send the keeper the wrong way.
In the 75th minute, Antonia Candreva’s shot was deflected back across the goal by Neto to allow Miroslav Klose to go for a diving header to knock the ball in.
Klose sealed the points and got his second of the night as Neto again deflected a shot into Klose’s path who fought hard to get the ball in the net.
Despite Fiorentina’s and Mohamed Salah’s recent improved performances, they could not hold back the third place team.
