Astros Rally Late to Stun the Dodgers
Starting Pitching Dominates
Game 2 started as a pitching duel and turned into the Home Run Derby in a matter of 3 innings. Justin Verlander and Rich Hill had the anticipated pitchers duel. Hill went 4 innings, striking out 7, while Verlander went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs and striking out 5. Verlander, however, gave up a key two-run home run to Corey Seager in the sixth to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead.
Bullpen Struggles

Both the Astros and Dodgers bullpen had themselves a rough night, giving up a combined 9 earned runs. But the Astros bullpen did their job with the game on the line.
Astros Hitting Comes To Life

The Astros went into the eighth inning down 2 runs against a bullpen that had a streak of 28 straight scoreless innings in the postseason. In the eighth inning, the Astros scored 1 run on a single from Carlos Correa. In the ninth inning, Marwin Gonzalez hit a lead off home run to tie the game at 3. During the tenth inning, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa went back-to-back to take a 5-3 lead. After allowing the Dodgers to tie the game, the Astros answered with a two-run home run by George Springer that proved to be just enough for the win.
Dodgers Rally Late but Fall Short
After blowing a 3-1 lead, the Dodgers would answer in the bottom of the 10th. Yasiel Puig hit a lead off solo home run and Enrique Hernandez hit the game tying two-out single to complete the rally. Charlie Culberson hit a home run in the bottom of the 11th inning, but it was not quite enough, as the Astros won 7-6.
Whats Next For the Series
Game 3 will be set in Houston, and based off of the first two games, this looks like it will be an amazing Series. Game 3 starters will be Yu Darvish vs. Lance McCullers Jr.
