Arsenal was looking for their 4th straight victory in the Premier League to continue in third. Queens Park Rangers were forced to win since Aston Villa won yesterday and they dropped them to the regulation zone, placing eighteen.
Arsenal found the back of the net in the 64th minute on a counter attack. Kieran Gibbs crossed for Oliver Giroud who slid with his left foot and beat the keeper.
Five minutes later Alexis Sanchez, in a individual play, took Darnell Furlong on the right side. Alexis cutted in to create just enough space to shoot low to the first post. The shoot then beat the keeper and made it two nil.
In the 82″ minute QPR was able to find the back of the net, after a powerful shot by Charlie Austin who took advantage of the miscommunication between Keran Gibbs and Laurent Koscielny.
Arsenal continues in third and will receive West Ham United at the Emirates, as Queens Park Rangers visit Crystal Palace.
